Biography: Steven L. Goldman is the Andrew W. Mellon Distinguished Professor in the Humanities at Lehigh University, where he holds a joint appointment in the Departments of History and Philosophy. Dr. Goldman was Director of Lehigh's Science, Technology and Society Program for 11 years and has been a member of the Program Board of the Iacocca Institute since its creation. He is a senior fellow of the Agility Forum at Lehigh University.

Roger N. Nagel is an internationally recognized expert on competitivenes. He has been selected by government and industry leaders in the U.S., Europe, Israel, Japan and Latin America to consult and lecture on the technological, organizational and cultural aspects of international competitiveness. In 1992, he was appointed by the U.S. Department of Commerce as the head of the United States technical committee negotiating with delegations appointed by Europe, Japan, Australia, and Canada to conduct a feasibility study on international collaboration in Manufacturing Systems.

Kenneth Preiss is an authority on international industrial competitiveness. He has held leadership roles in defense and industrial projects in Israel and the U.S. where he has been instrumental in modifying both the technologyand the structure of organizations to improve operational effectiveness. Dr. Preiss synthesizes real-world situations and theoretical understanding, based on his solid achievements both in practice and in research. Over a 35-year career, he has worked in enterprise engineering, computer-aided design and manufacturing, artificial intelligence, civil engineering, nuclear engineering, desert technology, geophysics and oceanography.
